![]() As far as I can tell, there's no "true" ending. The game tried too hard to get me involved in a character for whom I had no feelings and neither of the 7 endings are completely satisfying. I don't think the story is told very well. There are like 7 endings to get but unless you are a completionist, you might just want to look them up on youtube and that's it. Minibosses or something like that would have made them a bit more special, but I'm not complaining. There aren't many levels (just like in Sifu) but they are different enough. ![]() I don't generally enjoy them and I was able to blast through this game twice. It's not the same, but it makes the game not so heavy in the roguelike aspect. And speaking of roguelikes, this game reminded me a lot of Sifu in terms of the game design, so if you liked that, you'll see some similarities here. I had a lot of fun slashing through levels and performing combos. Gameplay is where the game shines, offering some fast paced hack and slash combined with many upgrades in a roguelike-esque manner. Voice acting was a big plus and the overall sound design was solid. The cyberpunk atmosphere is well made but there was something about the character models that looked cheap in my opinion, especially when they talked in cutscenes. That said, I'll move on to some brief thoughts. I think the game is not optimized to handle video memory that well. I have a 3080 and it was not a framerate issue. But first of all I will mention this: the game crashed a lot with RTX on. And let me tell you, it surprised me in a good way. I had very low expectations for this game considering how low the percentage of positive reviews are, but I still wanted to give it a go since it looked very interesting.
